Nope! We are a walk-in studio, so you just stop in during business hours to get started. Feel free to give us a call if you have a party larger than 8, or if you are booking a birthday party. Otherwise, just walk in and we will get you started when you get here, no reservations required!
We welcome painters of all ages! Little ones tend to paint a little faster than most, but kids and adults of all ages are encouraged to come in and get creative with us!
This all depends on which items you choose. Each piece is priced individually, but most are in the $15-30 range, and each painter also has a studio fee of $6/hour, which covers the materials, clear glazing, and firing process. The average person spends between $20-30 per person all together.
Yes! Food and drinks are allowed in our studio, and we have paper products available if needed. Adults 21 and older are welcome to bring beer and wine to sip as you paint.
Our hours are on the front page of the website. Currently we are open 10am-6pm Sun-Wed and 10am-8pm Thus-Sat.
Our turn around time to get items back to you is 7-10 days.
We hold items in our studio for 30 days.
Unfortunately we do not ship items. If you are worried about not being able to get your items in the 30 day time-frame, anyone can pick up your items for you, as long as they have your last name/pink receipt.
All of our items have already been through the bisque firing process, and you are just painting the pottery in our studio. We do not offer hand-building.
We do not have classes available at our studio. We are a walk-in studio, so if you see something you like or have a technique you'd like to try, the staff is happy to help you when you come to paint!
Yes, all broken items, including samples, are added to your bill at the time of checkout.
To officially book a party, you pay a $25 deposit and choose an available time-slot. Kids parties are an hour and a half and are priced at $10/painter + the pottery. Adult parties are two hours and are priced at $12/painter + the pottery. Check out the Parties and Events page for more information. Give us a call at 704-544-4848 to reserve your spot!
Of course! Our staff is happy to help with recommendations for any handprint ideas you might have, and to help you get the actual handprints on your items. We have tons of ideas in the studio, as well as on the "Customs" tab of our website if you need some inspiration! We also recommend coming in during the weekday/mornings if you feel like you might need some extra help, as we tend to be significantly busier during the weekends.
If you just need us to write something for you, we offer a writing fee at $0.25 per letter.
If you want us to do the actual artwork for you, our custom fee is $20/hour for the artwork, then you pay for your items and a firing fee per piece.
We do! They are dependent on if they are available with our supplier, but you can pre-purchase them year round and they take a week or two to come in.
We start bringing the trees into the studio after Halloween, and are available first come, first serve. You are also welcome to pre-purchase one over the phone and we can hold it under your name until you come back to paint it at a later date.
